The One is a singular blend from The Lakes Single Malt and select Scotch grain and malt whiskies from the Highlands, Speyside and Islay. This is a finely blended whisky, rich and full flavoured, with notes of honey-roasted nuts and gentle wood smoke.
The One Fine Blended has a floral top note, backed by toasted malty sugar. To taste, smoky spices and toasted oak build, balanced by honeyed citrus.
The Lakes use cold, pure water from the Lake District National Park which, when heated, is added to the ground barley to a give clear wort. This influences flavour as the slower the mashing, the fruitier the resulting spirit will be.
