One of the great modern gins, Shortcross combines a sense of classicism (piny juniper) with a local twist (verdant and fresh). The label foiling and subtle texture is intricately designed too, matching the astounding liquid inside the bottle.
Key botanicals include sweet floral elderflower, plump elderberries, wild clover and crisp apples all of which foraged from the surrounding gardens. We recommend with elderflower tonic water and an orange peel garnish.
Shortcross is made on glorious 450L copper pot stills, with two seven plate side columns. Botanicals are steeped and distilled with the spirit passing through the columns. The result is an immensely smooth gin made to a London Dry standard.
