Launched in 1870, Old Forester is the only bourbon continuously distilled and marketed by the founding family before, during and after Prohibition.
Old Forester Classic is unchanged since its creation – a full-bodied rye rich, full of flavour and smooth on the finish. Best served neat or with a splash of water.
Old Forester is made from a mash of corn, rye and malted barley. Grains are milled and mashed, then fermented with a yeast strain grown at the distillery. Following this the grains are twice distilled and then matured in new American oak casks.
