Montanya Exclusiva Rum exudes lovely dark and rich flavours with raw cacao nibs, ground coffee, a bit of spice and fruit compote. Sounds mad but it’s true – this rum has it all!
Expect notes of cinnamon, red wine, honey and vanilla all over this rum. We think it’s worth sipping neat, as the dry tannic finish is what defines this aged rum. However, it’s rather tasty in alcohol-forward cocktails like Rum Sours too…
Montanya Exclusiva barrel ages for a total of three years—two and a half in an American White Oak barrels that previously held Laws Colorado whiskey, followed by six months in French Oak barrels that previously aged Cabernet Sauvignon and Port.
