King of Soho London Dry Gin is a crispy, piney classic created by Howard Raymond in tribute to his property tycoon (amongst other more eyebrow-raising endeavours) father, Paul.
Bright citrus is the dominant force here, although juniper snaps in so quick and firmly that the drinker would be lucky to escape without whiplash. It’s a catch-all gin, brilliant in most cocktails and great in a G&T with a grapefruit garnish.
King of Soho is made to London Dry standards at Thames Distillers in London. There are 12 botanicals in the gin, including juniper, coriander, grapefruit, angelica and cassia.
