Indian Gin is on fire, with the country finally waking up to the absolute abundance of botanicals it has on its doorstep. Hapusa Gin – packed to the rafters with earthy Himalayan juniper and great, bold bursts of lime – is leading the charge.
Hapusa means juniper in Sanskrit, so it should come as no surprise that the gin is like a face first fall through a pine forest. With bright lime and a nutty coriander seed, this is a wonderfully earthy, spiced and exciting gin. Try it in a Gimlet!
Hapusa Gin is made to a one-shot London Dry method on Nao Spirits 1000-litre copper pot still. All of the ingredients are added to the pot alongside a neutral wheat spirit and gently distilled.
