This 8yr old expression is an impressive Jamaican rum from the Hampden Estate; full-bodied, big tropical fruit flavours and deep oak. Complex to say the least.
Fresh mango, vanilla meets toffee on the nose. Oak is clear to taste with sappy cedar notes leading tropical fruit like pineapple and ripe banana. Citrus, cinnamon and ginger close the show.
The rum has been aged for 8 years in Jamaica’s tropical climate, made with 100% high ester mark pot still rum (double retort pot stills).
