Aged for at least 5 years, Four Roses Bourbon Original is smooth with the Malt Master’s intention to create a bourbon with fruity, floral essences, light spice on the nose, finishing with a long crisp taste of subtle apple and pear on the palate.
Four Roses Bourbon Original is best served neat, but with that floral meets crisp fruit taste, one to substitute in with cocktails that call for Brandy.
The distillery uses five yeast strains and two mash bills to create 10 different spirits. All 10 are blended in its Four Roses bourbon bottling, while the Small Batch release contains four of the combinations.
