Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old is an accessible single malt whisky which has a smooth, light to medium body. On the nose are aromas of heather and peat, to taste is honeyed sweetness and vanilla and the finish is trio of flavours; smoke, peat and malt.
One of the drams that got many in the team here really loving Scotch. So easy to sip, lots of sweetness and then the smoke, malt and peat arrive. A really special Whisky.
Dalwhinnie is made with water sourced from Lochan an Doire Uaine – meaning “Loch of the Green Thicket”. This pure and soft spring water travels through local peat before reaching the loch which is located 600 metres above sea level.
