Based on original family recipe from the 1935, Contratto Aperitif has lively notes of rhubarb, lemon, tangerine and herbal notes bringing fresh and lively citrus balanced by a bittersweet edge.
Lighter and less bitter than Contratto Bitter, match this with lighter gins if you are using it as the base of a Negroni, or just add some soda and Prosecco to make a Spritz!
Contratto Aperitif is made using a combination of 28 botanicals infused into Italian Brandy. Key to it’s flavour are the use of Safflower, orange, cinchona, wormwood, juniper, licorice root, rhubarb and ginger.
