One of the great classic liqueurs, Yellow Chartreuse is a more approachable, sweeter version than the famed Green Chartreuse.
Peppermint, anise and herbal, piny notes are clear on the nose. To taste, it’s sweeter than the green version, with honeyed rootiness, citrus and resinous pine. Mint returns on the finish, alongside peppery herbs.
Only two Chartreuse monks know the identity of the 130 plants, how to blend them and how to distil them into this world-famous liqueur. The green colour is entirely natural and done via infusion.
