A world-famous herbal liqueur with a distinctive flavour and a key component to the likes of the Last Word, Green Chartreuse is made by Carthusian Monks to a 1605 recipe.
There’s pungent aromas of pine, lime and anise. To taste its herbaceous and fresh, ranging from lemon zest to pine to anise and onto a peppermint finish. One to use in the many cocktails that call for it, but also one to try over ice.
Only two Chartreuse monks know the identity of the 130 plants, how to blend them and how to distil them into this world-famous liqueur. The green colour is entirely natural and done via infusion.
