A legendary rum from the famed ghost distillery! Caroni 1998 is bottled in true ‘Bristol form’ – unadulterated and pure showcasing a rum that’s a true expression of its origin and its vintage.
The nose brings classic Caroni aromas of wood spices and diesel, complemented on the palate by notes of dried fruit, treacle toffee, toasted oak, warm spices and dry oak that linger in the finish.
Distilled in 1998 on column stills, this rum was aged in ex-bourbon casks and enjoyed maturation first in the tropics before it was transported to the UK between 2008-2010 for further maturation until 2022
