Angostura 1824 is a rum of fine distinction and to mark the special nature of the liquid – they named it in honour of the founding date of the Company (1824) by Dr. Johann G.B. Siegert.
A rich bouquet of sweet molasses leads the nose, with cocoa, toffee and tropical fruit. To taste, these are joined by hints of chocolate, orange, spices and fruity nuances.
Rum is aged in charred American oak bourbon barrels and then skilfully blended and recasked. The result is a rum of distinction and complexity.
